A question I have yet to answer...

Why is it, I can climb 20+ feet up in a tree and sit on a tiny platform for hours on end with no problem but get freaked out this time every year climbing a 28-foot extension ladder to put Christmas lights on the house...and getting on top of the roof is totally out of the question?

Same here. I think because you're excited about the hunt and putting up Christmas lights is a PITA.

Because there are no tree limbs to hold on to. I used to be an iron worker when I was younger now I don't care to get up to high, I guess I know I don't bounce to well now.

          I'm in a 20' platform with 27 mph winds.

I would rather be on a roof. Pucker factor is 8.5 right now.
