Has anyone ever dealt with a guy by the name of Don Jackson out of austin- he has a ton of leases listed and just wanted to know if he is a good guy, trustworthy and does he lease good property

I hunted for 24 years next to One of his places in Lampasas. My opinion of him is he is a money hungry Jack*****. I would not lease of him if he paid me. I also had to deal with him in the Simms Creek management program.

I'm sure he gets a 10% finders fee. That is the going rate these days.

Email Brady Anders one of the sponsors of this site. He dealt with Don for a couple of years and it won't take him long to tell you to stay away. Don is at the very least severly bipolar.

From what I've read it seems he owns these places. If he does own these palces and they are available year after year, should tell you everything you need to know.

I also know he owns most of the land he leases out but, I also know he is a lease agent because he was president of Simms Creek WMA
