11 point and a doe

This is my first van zandt county buck and my sons first deer. Amazing what a popup and a little hand corn can do. Both were shot out of the same stand at 60 yards. Mine ran 20 yards and his dropped in its tracks. I was pretty pumped about both hunts.

I saw the biggest buck of my life in Vanzant county back in the 90's. I wish I had access to land there again.
