    Hog trapping

Was wondering if anyone had traps out and doing any good. Have been thinking about putting the traps back out and seeing if we have any luck. My question is, is it right conditions for the pigs to come to the traps or should I just wait for it to get colder? And what mixtures with corn have worked best for yall. Any advice would help.

Caught 7 in two days near Smithville last week. We used corn, rotten horse feed & Pig Out. Pig Out is some liquid hog bait we got at ****'s.

Gonna be putting one out today if I can get it in the woods. Mine are loaned out and I borrowed one yesterday from a
guy and it's huge. Gonna take a few people to get it in there. I been seeing hogs on the camera so I hope they come in. gonna do some HI-C corn and some feeder fat to start.

Have 4 traps on one ranch. One has 3" of corn in the bottom but the coastal is all rooted up around it. Another has the corn in it I put in it 2 weeks ago--and is rooted up around it. The other two--caught a boar and sow 2 weeks ago in one, but the other one, at the feeder, also has couple inches of corn in it. However, the game camera at the feeder/trap hasn't shown any pig activity in 2 weeks. I think the Thanksgiving deer hunters hammered them pretty good and they are a bit feeder shy right now. Going out to check the camera in a few minutes and re-set the traps if I see activity on camera. Report to follow--

I caught this little guy over the weekend. I usually just use regular corn, but I've had a lot of luck with soured corn and strawberry jello mix.
