    iTunes help

So......a year ago when I updated my phone, and it tried to sync and save a backup copy of what I had on my iPhone 4, it stopped short in the middle of the save, twice and took up HUGE chunks of memory in the process. So my PC has been running on terminally low disk space ever since.

Well the problem has come to a head because now I can't even get online anymore. I initially didn't want to delete the updates because they had videos of my son on there that I didn't want to lose but I have all the photos saved and that's good enough for me at this point. I just want to delete the old backup files completely at this point and get the PC back up and running.

Does anyone know the "path" to access these files and what exactly I'm looking for here? Also, it will not let me open iTunes at this point either, keeps saying "The folder iTunes is on a locked disk or you do not have write permission for this folder".

Surely someone is an apple genius on here.

      This what you looking for

      Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: To quickly access the Application Data folder, click Start, and choose Run. Type %appdata% and click OK.

      Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: To quickly access the AppData folder, click Start. In the search bar, type %appdata% and press the Return key.

Thanks Art, it got me going in the right direction and allowed me to delete the files, cleared up 40 gigs of space on my PC
