The Marble Falls story is the truth I believe. One of my contractors lives and offices there. He sent me the picture the day it happened. Awesome hill country buck.

I got the story from a semi-reliable source I think- guy was caught trying to take the head off the deer once it was hit on the highway just outside Marble Falls. Think it escaped from (forgot who) retired athlete in the area high fence. I could be all wrong so don't fry me if I am.

That's pretty common, there is a nice buck that was poached that is in the office in San Angelo.

Cost a student at ASU about 14k in restitution to have his mount displayed at the office!

I actually talked to the game warden that took the picture holding this buck. It is being mounted and going on display at local GW office. Buck was hit in marble falls
