Please Help! I need a good mechanic in the Georgetown area!

I live in Arlington and my son is in school at Southwestern University in Georgetown. He is having some serious issues with his F150 and I need a mechanic I can trust tomorrow. I have a friend in Round Rock that suggested the Christian Brothers there but the reviews I read were awful. Please help me!

What's wrong with the F150? Year? Motor size?

      I don't know. I'm 200 miles away. That's part of the problem.

PM'ing you my number if he or you need me feel free to call.

I know the owner of Integrity Automotive. His son played football with my nephew so it's not like we hang out or anything. I've used him a few times always got fixed just what needed it and he didn't try to BS me. They are in Round Rock close to the La Frontera area.

What is wrong with the truck Im local and dont mind taking a look. If it is minor I can probably get by. Try Lansdale Automotive- I carried my diesel up there with a water pump issue. They were not able to work on it because it required speciality tools. They followed me to the dealership in case my truck overheated. Seemed to be reccomended to me multiple times when we first moved here and I was asking for future references for things.

From his description, it sounds to me like he may just have a bad sensor at the least or a bad tranny at the worst.

                    Lansdale has treated us right.

Ralph Anderson is good people also. His shop is just east of the SU campus on 29.

Year, motor, mileage? Some seemingly trans issues are sparkplug related.

I second Ralph Anderson Automotive. Just down highway 29 from Southwestern.

                              What year is the truck?
My friend has an 05 f150 with a bad overdrive. It will kick in around 50mph and make the tranny slam I'm and out of gear. He got it fixed but the dealership said it wasn't that common for that year to have the problem.
Other than that idk. I stick to diesels!
