I recently had my travel tool box taken from my truck and will probably use Christmas to replace it. I like to keep it fairly small and light as I have a big tool box with "everything" I keep at home in the garage. I just need general tools (I'm not an electrician or carpenter, etc.). So what do you carry in your portable toolbox? I'm thinking hammer, screw drivers (various types), tape measure, level and pliers (various types). What am I missing that you carry? Without my toolbox in front of me, I know I'm forgetting some stuff. Or is there a complete package you would recommend?

Yup what he said^^^. The only thing I have also is a small floor jack and cordless tools(cordless screwdriver, impact driver, skilsaw) including a cordless impact wrench. Makes changing flats easy an quick. Ratchet straps, wire, duct tape, channel locks, my list goes on and on.Last edited by gator89; 11-27-2012, 03:42 PM.

Also, what would you recommend as a good jack to keep in my truck tool box (separate from the tool box in my original post as that will also go in my truck tool box)? I just need something to use to change a flat tire since the factory scissor jack is crap and hard as heck to get to. I'm trying to decide between a bumper jack and a hydraulic jack.
