UPDATE on the call. Well I went ahead and took my son to the lease over Thanksgiving because I promised him. We had a nice time with the ranch pretty much to ourselves! I had talked to one of the guys that was going to hunt Thanksgiving day and asked him not to shoot a doe out of my stand because I knew that is where he was going to hunt!!!!!!!!!!!! He said ok and guess what was hanging on the skinning rack when my son and I showed up Thursday night? Yep a doe shot out of my stand. As many of you posted to try and work it out. Well this is one of those other things I was referring to about problems on this lease! The more I think about it the more I get ******!!! Really I am feeding to much???? This lease as a whole voted to turn off all feeders during off season and to have 4 central spin feeders. I was not for this and said I will keep my feeder going on my own dime!! I was the only one that did and now I am told that I am feeding to much!!! I am aslo the only one see deer!!! The reason everyone knows what is being seen at my stand is because when I am not there someone else is. I also do not agree with the open stand policy!! Sorry for the RANT but needed to get it off my chest!!! So if anyone knows of a lease that will let me feed as much as I want please let me know. Hope y'all are having a better season than me!!!!

Ha, can't fix stupid....we have open stands on our lease but we are all good friends and work together (had a buddy coming up friday i talked to on thursday he was bringing his son with him, we talked about whats on cameras and he said go hunt them hogs at one of the stands been coming in everyday told him nope saving that for you and your son), your fighting a losing battle it sounds like....good luck and tag out this seasonLast edited by Mossback; 11-26-2012, 02:44 PM.Comment

What are you more POed about the fact that it was shot out of your blind or that they want you to stop feeding? The only thing I can say is if everyone on voted to shut down feeders in off season and you didn't follow that rule, can you really blame them for not wanting to follow any rules you say? Jmo....Comment

Try and enjoy the rest of the season the best you can, then run from that place! We might have an opening on our place next year, "you can feed all you want" lol but we're in Foard County kinda far for you.
