My mac froze on me and so I turned it off. Now it won't turn on. It will either sit at the start up loading screen or it will let me log in but it won't load everything on the desktop and will not let me click on anything. Can anyone help me?

Which one / how old? I have a iMac 27 that is a little over two years old that recently dumped the entire hard drive - froze up with the "spinning beach ball of death" forever. (Mac users probably know what I'm talking about). Two weeks after getting the hard drive replaced under warranty, I get an email from Apple saying:
Dear iMac owner,
Apple has determined that certain 1TB Seagate hard drives used in 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMac systems may fail. These systems were sold between October 2009 and July 2011.
Our records show that you have an iMac with an affected 1TB Seagate hard drive. Apple will replace your hard drive with a new one, free of charge, under the iMac 1TB Seagate Hard Drive Replacement Program.
Wish I would have received that email BEFORE I lost everything for the past two years. But Apple did replace it under warranty, and I now have a new external back-up drive.
All the best,
Glenn
