His pop up is on his land and you are concerned about your girl friend shooting because his pop up is in the direct path of her shot?

He can put anything he wants on his property, anywhere he wants.
You have to keep your bullets on your property.
Doesnt matter how long youve haf that stand there.

It sounds like your GF shooting onto his property (whether intentional or not), is potentially opening her up to some legal issues. Him setting up a feeder and blind, near his fence line, is within his rights as the landowner.

I think you're missing the point here, safety is what I'm mainly after. I don't "own" deer so he's
Just as rightful to them as I am. My only concern is a freak accident with a stray bullet.
I am more than flexible, if he is hunting his spot I will be sure to give him his space.
But, he has to do the same. With a feeder on a fence line, that gets hard to do. This guy was warned last year due to a shot cow, IMO he has no respect doing the same thing again.

"Stray bullet". You are responsible for the projectile..regardless the silly name you give it.

So why ask if you don't want to listen? The guy who posted this is absolutely right. Think about it. It's his property, he can do what he pleases. Your GF takes a bad shot and hurts/kills the guy in the stand on his own property. What do you think a jury is going to say? Think those on the jury understand the world of hunting? Be a pretty hard case to argue.
You can try talk to him ... but from what your telling us ... he's not a good listener. Talk to him, if he doesn't move, then it's your decision .... move your stuff, risk your GF not missing, risk her shooting someone.

I think you're under the impression this is a right of way type of situation; which it is not. He butts up to a pasture that deer come out of different directions when crossing. Common sense says that you locate his stand and wait for a clear shot, but you are implying that if my bullet hits off a rock and hits him, I'm responsible?
Reality is, j could move that stand, but why can't he move his when he's already been warned about shooting a cow? He hunts there for free.... at some point his LO has to take some responsibitly.

Not implying.......stating a fact: You (or GF) are responsible for the bullets that comes out of your gun. Not a rock; not a tree.............YOU.
