First Javelina...

I'm sure for those that have them it's not a biggie. My step mom has had her family place outside Crystal City for 20 years and never killed nor seen any Javelina. Well yesterday evening I saw and took not only the first for me but the first for the Ranch. I thought it was interesting that we never see them and the neighboring towns school mascot is the Javelinas.

I always keep a couple around for people I take that have never killed one. Season starts out with around 10 and we usually trim them back to around 5 or 6. See the same group and the same feeder every day like clock work.

Congrats on the javi! I know they're a nuisance, but I'd like to see some, too. We have hogs but no javelinas.

The norm I have been told is bunch of hogs no Javies and vice versa. They don't play well together.
