    Archery Country?

I would like an few opinions on this place good or bad. I will be going through there and my buddie wants me to drop his Hoyt off for a mod swap and tune. How good are they and are their prices pretty resonable? Do they have a decent selection of asseccories?

    Thanks

I've had good luck with them, I would much rather take it to AC than to cabelas down in Buda.

I've had nothing but good experience with them. The selection was a little limited when I was there, but that was over a year ago and they hadn't been in the new place long. They had what I needed, though, and the work they did on my bow was solid.

I bought my Helim and my wife's Menace from them.

Prices are decent, and the selection is getting better. If it is a special trip, you may want to call to make sure they have want you want.

Staff is friendly and tries to make everyone happy.

I drive all the way from South Texas to have Mike Luckie (one of the owners) work on my bows. They have reasonable prices and, most importantly, will get it done right! I wouldn't care if they were twice the going rate because I've seen what passes for bow tuning at other shops. What's it worth to have your $1k+ bow shoot perfectly on your hunt. Price shopping bow work seems crazy to me.

If you can, talk to Mike and see if he has time to do it himself.

Best archery shop in the area! Luckie will take good care of you and if he's not there, talk to Sid. Great group of guys, not bias on any brand of bows, no pressure and they won't make you feel ignorant for asking lots of questions. I've bought 2 bows from them and they have taken good care of me. I think you'll be happy you went there!
