Antenna for Covert Black Ops

Can anyone tell we which antenna to buy for a Covert Black Ops trail camera? Mine gets 3 bars of signal where I want to put it while setting it up, but it never sends a picture. I moved it to a higher part of the lease and it's been working great for a week, but that's not where I want to use it.
I do have an old AT&T magnetic antenna with about 10' of cable, but the connector does not match the camera. If I could find an adapter, that would be great, but the local Radio Shack doesn't have one.

I bought mine off eBay. It's a covert brand. $25 free shipping. Been a couple months ago.

Thanks, however I would like to pick something up in Sherman this week, so I can get it working ASAP. I'll be hunting there all this week, and I sure would like to have it working before I head back home.

Not sure of there is a Radio Shack in Sherman, but thats where Id go first.. I also got mine from Covert.. My camera wouldnt even work in the metroplex without the bigger antenna.. Got mine put out on public land today very well hid.. Patiently waiting for my first picture..

It sounds like there's something wrong with yours.

Is there a way to see what the signal strength is on the run screen? I only recall seeing that on the setup screen. If it looses signal, will it ever search again automatically? If so, how often?

If there is a way to see it in the on setting I dont know what it is.. Im sure it will seach of connection just like your cell phone does but I dont know what the cycle is. I just made sure to send a test picture from mine once I had it set up to make sure it was working

Google Covert Black ops external antenna. Several options will pop up. That's how I bought mine. It was made for a Covert. I wanted to make sure the connection fitting would fit.

I though I had mine working last weekend with 3 bars of service at some scrapes, so I left it up all night. I got no pictures overnight and it wouldn't send a picture of me walking by it. I when through the setup again, tried another tree, and it still didn't work. I moved it 500 yards away on a hill where it shows 4 bars of service and it's working fine there. I want to move it back to the scrapes and try it again on Monday.
