Same here. Saw some axis the other day and I threw up a quick N. wind stand on some monster rubs. Just got in because I had to feed all the other hunters on the ranch, but maybe I'll get lucky. Heck, at least I'm outdoors with a bow in hand!

Any signs of rut gettin' ready to start where you are? I heard two bucks GETTIN' AFTER IT today!! And I e been hearing some grunts for about a week. Awfully early for us but I'm not complaining.

Are y'all seein' signs of the rut starting earlier than usual, is what I really meant? I'm in Sabinal and everything seems about 2 weeks early. Usually our rut will kick off around the 10th-12th of December but we're seeing so much fighting and grunting and scrapes that I'm wondering if it's about to kick off?

Had a little luck on meat for the winter. Killed an axis buck. One antler broken off and no trophy but a big body with lits of meat Tried to post earlier but tapatalk isn't cooperating.
