    Does propane go "bad"?

I have acquired a couple of propane bottles that have been sitting out in the weather for I don't know how long- probably a year or two. They both have quite a bit in them. Would they be OK to use?

For all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than to Google it for themselves.

Yes, just shake em up a bit. They're filled with liquid propane. Only thing about bottles been sitting up, fittings may leak around valve at tank.

I just bought a camper that had been sitting for 6 years with propane in the tanks. I got it home and the stove lit right up. It should be fine.

Fire-em up. Will not go bad. You may have to worry about the bottles, they need inspected every few years, amd you can't refill the non-OPD valves.

It's been in the ground millions of years.

Open it up and hold a lit match in front of it. If it shoots fire, you should be good to go
