Well last night I received a call and it seams that some guys on my lease are saying I have an unfair advantage. I have been using a road feeder and pull all the deer to my area. I responed by saying maybe its beacuse everyone in my pasture turned there feeders off during the off season! I have keep my feeder going all year with my own money and not lease money and put corn on my road every trip. He just said its unfair u seeing 18 plus deer every hunt and others only 2-3 and that I should not do it. Well the guy complaining has only hunted 4 total days in 2 years and those are the only days he has even been to the lease even during off season. Needless to say I told him I am not stopping and this will be my last year. Never new I would get introuble for feeding to much!!!! So with that off my chest anyone that might have a opening next season for a family spot I am looking!!!! Happy Thanksgiving

I've have the same issue. Guys are jealous of my success...... I scout and I'm on my lease once a week during the off season checking out the deer, turkey and pigs and filling/dumping corn. Where as they will dump a 50 lb bag of corn sit over it right then and complain that I see all the deer...... Some people just don't understand that you get out what you put in!!!
After years of people complaining or sitting a stand 10 yards from mine I now tell everyone I haven't seen anything... Been working pretty good so farLast edited by Jourdan_D; 11-22-2012, 08:23 AM.

This is what came to mind after reading the concerns of the others.
Aesop
The Ant and the Grasshopper
In a field one summer's day a Grasshopper was hopping about, chirping and singing to its heart's content. An Ant passed by, bearing along with great toil an ear of corn he was taking to the nest.
"Why not come and chat with me," said the Grasshopper, "instead of toiling and moiling in that way?"
"I am helping to lay up food for the winter," said the Ant, "and recommend you to do the same."
"Why bother about winter?" said the Grasshopper; "We have got plenty of food at present." But the Ant went on its way and continued its toil.
When the winter came the Grasshopper had no food and found itself dying of hunger - while it saw the ants distributing every day corn and grain from the stores they had collected in the summer. Then the Grasshopper knew: It is best to prepare for days of need.
