    Wasp

Alright guys I'm at a loss. I got my sister and family on our lease this year. They took over 3 box blinds that a friend of mine left when he got off last year. All 3 of these stands have red wasp. BAD!! In sept we sprayed the nest and knocked the nest out. Sweep all the dead ones out. Good to go right, wrong!!! They have been back every single weekend. They have sprayed, bombed and sprayed the walls with demon wp. Someone please tell me what to do in the middle of hunting season?? I know what I'll do come Jan, burn them to the ground and start over. .

I use this in my RV and every ground blind I have, even the pop ups and i have had absolutely no flys, wasps, spiders or anything in the blind since I have started using them. I have many bugs including yellow jackets on the floor when i go back after not being in the blind for a while.

Thanks. We will start there. It's funny, I've got a box blind 500 yds from one of them and never had a wasp one.

When I was on a S. Tx lease, used them in feeder boxes (kept wasps and scorpions out), and had one inside the lid of each feeder. Nothing like lifting the lid off a feeder and finding a basketball-sized wad of them inside.

I only used 1/4 or 1/3 of one in those places, and no more than 1/2 in the blind. Didn't like the smell of them either, so always opened all the windows and door to let it air out a bit before I climbed inside.

And, here's the warning about "living space" usage:

will this product be of any harm to my puppy or I if it is located in the same space that we live in?

This is only for non-living spaces. You should not use it in rooms that are occupied for more than four hours per day by you or your pets.

Try putting some cut up pieces of cedar in there, for some reason it repels them.

Make sure the blind is sealed up to prevent, or lessen the chances of them from getting in.

That's part of the problem. But mine don't even have windows and don't have the wasp.

If u don't want wasps leave all the window open. If it is open air they won't stay in there. You can't seal most old boxes up tight enough to keep them out. That's why u don have any, since u don't have windows. This time of year they are looking for places to get out of the cold.
Funny, we were just discussing this at my lease this last trip. Open air blinds no wasps, closed up window blinds, a lot of wasps.

Pest strips helps but not 100%.

I call BS on this one. I was cutting a cedar tree this year to clear some shooting lanes and in the tree it had a nest attached to the limb I decided to cut.

I had an old farmer one time tell me to paint the ceiling blue. He said it tricks them to think it's sky. Don't know any truth to it and I've never done it, but he never had a problem in is blind or his ceiling to his wrap around porch...

After you spray the nest dont knock it down, the chemical from the spray on the nest will keep em away.

We wrap the open window with a piece of wire right in the vertical middle of the opening
Then hang small pieces of cedar cuttings. It repels the insects, breaks up the head pattern and is easily/quitely slid to the slide when shooting
