Upgrading iPhone 4 to iPhone5, worth it?

I upgraded and got rid if the unlimited plan. Ask them to run a report of the data you use every month. I saved $185 a month on our plan. Two iPhones and my deer camera plan. I have only used 1 gig from my 4 gig plan this month and I am always using my phone. If you don't change your plan and use more than 3 gigs they throttle you down to edge service and that sucks.

That's what I was going to do, they ran a report last time and I was just over 1 GB, that's with three iphone 4's on the plan. My wifi at my office is running pretty good so I don't see right now that I will need to use the 5 as a hotspot, so I will probably give up the unlimited and start off on the 4GB plan and see how that goes for a month or two. Even if all three of our 4's were upgraded to 5's I don't think we would be using up all of that plan at the rate we're going.

very much worth it

keep the unlimited i wouldn't change anything until you have the phone and see what happens to usage after that, buy a mifi and use that as a hotspot vs the iphone
