I have big fat feet and snakeboots never fit or go on very well. I am thinking of getting some Turtleskin Gaitors but thought I would ask before I drop $100 and change on them.

Never used turtleskins, but I do use Rattler Brand snake gaiters. I guess they are a little heavier than the turtleskins but they are also about ½ the price. I use them when I am hunting and forget I have them on so weight for a gaiter is not really a problem.
If you are going for the full length leg chaps then I would go with the turtleskins, the Rattle Brand chap is kind of stiff and would be heavier but still ½ the price.
