Interest in Christ Centered Lease?

I know I talked about this last year. And I have some confessions. I didn't follow through with organizing the Christ Centered Lease because I didn't have the personal funding to participate last year. Well, fellers......I have been prodded by my God to do it anyway.

I want to organize and run a lease for others. If you are interested in hunting with others on a property that only Christ Centered Men (sorry ladies....this is a ministry for me.....so I am going to keep it to men), email me at jmaruschak@earthcon.net

The idea:
Find a lease for 10-25 guys and Their Families.
Find a lease that if Family Friendly
- this means....your tags are good for the entire family
Find a lease with a house/cabin
Find a lease with ponds/tanks for kids fishing
Find a lease that is no more than 2.5 hours from Houston

I will be in charge of taking care of blinds, stands, shooting lanes, feeders, the facilities, and cooking. Cameras will be set up EVERYWHERE!! And regularly emailed pics/videos to members of the lease. Manage all permits, and surveys.

The bottom line is....I want to serve others so that Men of God can come together around the campfire at nights to mentor to each other, and just as importantly, to our sons. Seeing that, and hearing the stories of the hunts, will mean just as much to me as getting in the stands myself. Or even more.

So if you are interested in talking about the lease. Pop me an email. I will have to set up a group email to discuss pooling of funds and everyone's requirements for a lease. As you know...leases go fast, and you have to pay on site, if you don't want someone to buy it out from under you. I have held back because I don't have the funding to do this, and have never wanted to talk money with others. But if we are going to do this, I will need everyone to be in agreement on how to move forward.

Very interesting. It is amazing how the Spirit moves. Please count me in as interested and able to provide other like minded brethern. This has been a desire of mine for a number of years. However $ and land constraints have always hindered it. Maybe this is Gods timing. Looking forward to more details.

I want to organize this off of the board. TBH is my family, but I don't want to be a discriminating member.

I too have talked with a few hunters that are seriously into finding a Christ Centered Lease. My proposal would to be to allow things like alcohol and democrats (j/k). But everything is within reason. The only worship going on will be of HIS great creation.

Oh, and I am VERY open, and encourge us to organize some Modern Day Knight gatherings for the 12+ boys and dads.

You got the born-again part right, but Keystone Stater? As the saying goes, I'm Texas-born, Texas-bred, and when I die I'll be Texas-dead.

Is there a Liberty in PA? I'm in the one between Houston and Beaumont. I'm looking forward to hearing about the lease.

Actually, there is a Liberty, PA. Not to far from where I grew up. Ironic, don't you think?
