Hogs are wearing me out this year!!

I cant kill enough of them!! Never been a feeder pen kind of guy, but do they really work? And if so, how big should it be??

I use 8 16' hog panels with a t post every 8' and have not had any problems. The pen is octagon shaped and has a 42' diameter! Click image for larger version

Work wonderful out west, central, and south.

I built one in e Texas a few years ago. 12 hog panels....6 months ZERO DEERin pen.
Removed 2 panels and had hogs again within 8 hrs.
I know your pain. Your place might be different. I know you cant kill deer if your non stop shooting pigs.

Off the feeders has been my saving grace. Good luck

I had the same problem of hogs bumping or pushing the deer out from under my feeder. I went with 10 hog panels 16' each in a circle, with t-posts every 8 feet. It took the deer 3 days go get acclimated to the pen. The day after I put up the panels the hogs came, but could not get in. After a week they don't even bother stopping by my feeder.

I would donate some free labor building pens to help you in trade for a pig or two. I have been really wanting to try to cook one.
