    Granger duck hunting?

    I've been dying to do some duck hunting lately and haven't been since I was 5 or so. I'm 30 now. I've had some people say they would take me and then back out when it's time to go. At this point I'm about ready to go get my permit and stamp to go hunt out there at Granger. I need someone to go with because I have no idea what I'm doing. I have my own guns/ ammo, waders and a kayak to use. If someone is goin and wouldn't mind me taggin along that would be awesome. If someone is goin and is not to Granger that would be great too that way I don't have to spend the extra bread for the APH permit. Thanks in advance.

    Good luck in finding someone to take you. I've never been either. I would love for someone with the equipment to let me tag along.

    Last time I asked someone sent me the following Texas public lands link to check out public hunting lands. I haven't had time to do any other research on duck hunting but thought I would pass it on too. http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/huntwild...ic/lands/maps/

      I'm in north DFW. I hunt during the week. If you boys can swing it I'd be glad to have you along w me. Boat rides in the dark across an open lake alone are pretty hairy. If y'all are willing to make the drive let me know. I will make a few overnight trips to other lakes this year, too.

        Granger is good after a flood and a good freeze. Good luck with all the sky blasters and ignorant hunters out there. Private and very remote public places for me.

          Man I really appreciate it but there is no way I could take a day off work right now. Being the only bread winner in a house of 4, I can't afford the missed work. That is a hellofa offer. Thank you, if for some reason I can make that I'll sure give ya a holler!!

            Watch out for the sandbar's too..Of course depends on Lake levels.
