Thought I would jump in this whole YETI vs. everthing else. BIL needed some work on his truck so i swapped some labor for a used yeti 45 along with all the Miller Lite and ice he could fit in it. LOVE it.....

You can buy a used fridge for half the cost. It makes ice. Lol.

I won mine at a raffle. I love it. Now that I own one without the investment I would buy one if something happened to mine. I only use it when I need ice to last long and wont have to carry it anywhere. They are heavy.

That said we drove to Orlando 2 weeks ago and spent a week and a half in FL doing all the parks. I kept drinks iced with only two bags of ice for the whole trip. Pretty cool.

You can buy a just fine quality cooler and enough ice to fill a swimming pool for the cost of a yeti!

They are very durable! I wouldnt say they hold ice any better unless they stay closed all the time ! I have several of them, but they are heavy! Takes two over grown men to load my 120 full of ice into a pickup! Not worth the money, but they look cool! If yeti dropped price 20% or so I would own a couple more!

I heard you can fill a yeti with a mixture of 1/2 pea gravel and 1/2 ice and it would make cement.
