    1st hunting in Henderson county

I am going hunting at a friends ranch this weekend in Henderson county. Its near Eustace and west of hwy 19. Anyone know this area pretty well ? And if so how is the deer hunting and ect. ?

I have a few customers that hunt in that area and have seen some shooter bucks, but haven't been able to get-r-done with a bow yet. Good luck bucks are chasing in Navarro County just 25 min from we're your going to be.

It's all about location in that area. There can be a big difference from one property to another. There are some big deer killed in that area every year. I saw pics of a bowkilled 180 class a couple of weeks ago. It was a teenagers first bowkill. There are also areas that have a lot of small properties with a lot of pressure so it all depends on the place your on.

More than likely I am going to be using my rifle. I don't think that they have any setups for bow hunting. Lets hope the deer will be moving there

I know that they don't hunt it that much. There is a lot of thicket on the property. And the neighboring pasture has a food plot so I am thinking that I may have good luck.
