Bow that I need info on

I have an Oneida bow. It's a recurve/compound. It's old and pretty cool. Just wondering about them like history and worth wise. I know a lot of people bow fish with them. That's it. So please fill me in.

There was a company that modified them called Monster bows. They're said to be great bows, but for whitetail hunting people generally want something a little more modern.

I almost bought a monster bow a year or so ago!

I will say that pound for pound that the Oneida/Monster series of bows were the smoothest drawing bows on the market. Most did not like them because of the many different moving parts on them. Great bows.

they really are very simple to work on, they may look intimidating but you can tear one down in the field, replace the string in just a couple of minutes, adjust your draw weight quickly if you want to. but all in all very easy to work on, you don't have to send it to the shop for maintainence. and the newer oneidas like the falcon or the kestrel are awesome bows...check 'em out

Bisch on here has a clost full of them. He knows a lot about them as you have to work on them a lot.
