If you can wait till after season get a big live trap and build you a wooden box to wire to the back so only what's inside can be seen from the front of the trap. Go buy a lil rooster and put in the box and set the trap. Make sure you stake the trap down cause I've seen them push a trap over trying to get to the rooster. You can also make a bait site with dog food and set leg traps but that will also bring in yotes, coon, and other critters. That's how we would catch foxes and yotes to pen in fox pens to run them with dogs in MS. Good money catching them but it's alotta work and time.

If it is around 25-30 lbs that's a HUGE fox. My biggest was 14lbs

Red or grey fox? If you are using leg-hold taps, try a blind set if you can identify a trail he is using. Use stepping sticks if necessary. Might catch fewer coons, possums, skunks that way.

Foxes are all hair. It makes them look huge but the body is deceivingly small. Statistically speaking, foxes are 9-12 pounds on average.

^Nice. You know I have gotten yotes, and bobcats on my game cameras numerous times. . . . but never seen a fox.

If using a leg hold trap just make a dirthole set using bacon grease as bait. Google dirt hole set and all the info you need will come up. I've caught a bunch that way however you may also catch coons and other critters

This guy is running around, essentially, in a neighborhood. He's a brute of a fox. I know he's bigger that 12 lbs

If you've got pics on the game cam, then post them up. Not everyone gets to see a world record size animal in their life and I'm sure everyone on here would love to see it.

Dirt hole set. Just like you would for coyotes but the distance from the hole to the trap pan would be a little shorter..........5-6 inches. Maybe use some feathers to grab his attention. He wont weigh over 15lbs either.

Reds are bigger than grey fox and can exceed 25 lbs under some conditions.
