Tips for hunting in Missouri

Going WT hunting in Hickory County Missouri for the first time and looking for any tips/tricks.

I have my franks doe pee and bucky candy ready for go., Hopefully that enough and does the trick

Buck candy probably won't do much cuz the bucks are in complete full rut right now, they aren't looking to eat. i just came back monday night and the only bucks i saw were on the tails of a doe. Since it is the rut, try rattling. Last year i had already shot my buck and went back out and rattled and brought in a nice 6 and 8 point. Other than that, be prepared for the cold and just gotta be in the right place at the right time. If you're scouting, look for scrapes and rubs, the 10 point i shot came out of a trail that i found where all the trees and shrubs had been torn to shreds. Good luck. PM if ya got anymore questions.
