    Hit a Yote this morning...

Hit a youngster on the way to work this morning. Did a bit of damage to the front bumper plastic. Dang it I pray oftentimes for god to give the creatures just enough sense to keep out of the roads or at least when there is a vehicle coming!

Shoulda had an ACME bumper as there would have been no damage

Thanks I will keep you in mind if I need body parts.
The coyote was the only one hurt in this case. I did drag him off to the side so he would not get hit again.
I felt the impact pretty well so I imagine if I had been on the bike it might have been worse for me!
If I had been in the truck I would have brought him with me to work and skinned him out later tonight!

Sucks for the yote. I hit a dog with my Honda Shadow a free years ago at 55. Only damage was to the dog and the grime I had to clean off.
I always wondered why animals are so hard to sneak up on, yet they don't move when a vehicle is coming at them?

Surprised by the amt of damage caused by the coyote - you must have hit him square!
