What is the Best 7mm-08 for the money?

I am looking to buy my wife a 7mm-08. have benn looking at the remington 700 sps, savage model 11, and tikka. Just looking for opinions and experiences with any of these.

My Remington SF is a tack driver. With that said, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the Tikka. Great rifle for the money.

IMHO the Marlin XS7 is the best value for the money. 7mm-08 can be hard to find sometimes but any gunstore should be able to put one in your hands for ~$400 TTL.

I have owned the Marlin XS7 for about 2 years now and im very happy with it. smooth shooting and very accurate. I bought it new at Academy for $385 out the door and that included a sling, cheap bsa scope and scope rings. Def one of the best investments I have made on a weapon. I carry it with me every time I go to the ranch

there is an A-Bolt Micro and a Savage 110 in my house. If I was grabbing one to go hunt it would be the Savage.

Great minds think alike, I have a TC 7mm-08 and love it.

If I had to choose from your 1st post I would buy the Rem 700.

I'd go with the Rem 700 or the Tikka.

The savage is not pretty but they all seem to shoot good right out of the box. Out of those choices I would choose the Tikka though.
