Looking for 7mm-08

I am currently looking to buy my wife a 7mm-08. Just wanted to get some opinions on brands and scope combinations. i am not that familiar with them but heard it was a good gun with a lighter recoil.

I have a remington Model 7 7mm08 and wouldnt trade it for nothing. Senthetic stock stainless barrel with a Leopold 6x18 on it. I shoot 139 grain hornidy SST and have killed every thing I have shot at. Cant go wrong with this gun in my opinion!

Weatherby Vanguard S2 for the money. Shoots under 1/2 in groups with HSM 139 Berger VLDs. Meopta 4-12x50 for the scope.

Love mine. My fiancee got it for me for Christmas 2 years ago. This year I was able to kill my biggest buck with it on our place. I have even let a friend use it when her gun malfunctioned in the stand & she loved it. It's light & beautiful. Remington makes it.
