Here is my opinion. If i ever reach the point that i feel the need to shoot another human being, there Will be no question in my mind about legality. I think that, for me anyway, legality won't matter, because it well come down to him or me leaving in a plastic bag. I'm not going to shoot anyone who is not threatening me or my loved ones. stuff can be replaced, lives can't. Now, i may very well go out and confront the guy breaking into my truck, but there will be no shots fired to stop him from stealing. If he comes out of the truck and attacks, and i fear for my life, bang, but just for stealing? Nah, not worth it imo.

I was kidding by the way, think of it like this you live more than 50 miles from the nearest town and have just one auto,it gets broke into and you cant drive it that person just affected your lively hood and endangered your well being ,yes i would shoot no question, he knew the risk when he or she committed the act.

but at the same time better expect some rounds to be popped off in your direction so you better be behind some decent cover if you try the scare tactic. And if they did return fire, toss the scare tactics out the window cause its time for self defense.
Odds are. The sight of a gun will be enough to cause them to flee.Last edited by DapperDan; 11-14-2012, 09:16 PM.

I did actually shoot a kid with a gamo air rifle ,he was lucky i grabbed the wrong one , he has the scar to this day perfect chest shot and almost went thru his chest plate.I WAS arrested and i did not care, again he was lucky it was 2 am and my muzzleloader was at the back door. When it comes to that politics and law hold no value to me.
