    The timer. Warranty?

Ok something went wrong with one of my The timers... It smelt burnt (electrical burnt) and wasnt working... I have since picked up two more of them to replace and have a spare...

Question is what's the warranty for the timer? If there is where does it need to be sent?

I have 8 of theses timers out in the field now... Out off these 8 I've had 2 problems.

One was blowing fuses, simple fix was to get a larger fuse. The other just all the sudden stopped working...

It was in the back yard at the house feeding for my dog... Slinger covered up by a bottomless 5 gallon bucket, dog food falls straight into her dish. Ingenious until it wasn't working one day...

Any ways, if somebody could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

5 years......I am beginning to think you are bad luck.

I'm going on on year 5 of my two and so are a few other buddies. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but not in my group of friends.

BTW...if a timer blows a fuse, I am pretty sure there is a motor or solar panel problem??

So ....putting a bigger fuse in it would just burn it up more....which is what sounds like happened to yours...

This is right. You can send it to him or call him and he will tell you the closest dealer to you or on the route to your lease that will replace it.

If it's Owens Supply that you're getting them from, they'll replace them.

Actually i got that one used in the classifieds here... Had a fuse that was too small for it... I replaced it with what i had at the time... Also too small for it... Got the right size fuse and haven't had a problem with that one since...

The one i had a problem with was a completely different Timer... And honestly don't know what happened to it.... one day it just no longer worked... And smelled like electrical fire...
