    Tagging Question

I hunt basically on the county line, If I arrow a deer in one county and he runs to the other which county do I put on the tag? Does it really matter? Both counties have the same seasons and bag limits.

Not 100% sure on this one but I would say the county in which you are hunting in (stand location). Is the property split by the county line? Oh, and as long as you take it legally, you should be ok.

I mean think about this. If you shot a deer on ranch A. He runs across the fence to ranch B and dies. Would you put that you killed him on ranch a or b? It's ranch A.

I'm pretty sure it is the county in which you were hunting. Like ddavis said.

Yeah we are split by he county line. I could even shoot across the county line if I were gun hunting. There is no physical marker, I'm going by satellite imagery. I'm not too worried about it, I figure I'll put the county that I camp in so there is no explaining to do if i get checked in camp. Just something I have been wondering the last couple days.

If that is an AR county it sure matters! You can kill a buck in one co and then kill one in the other legally.

Our place splits the line between two AR/non AR counties. The house is in the AR county. I tell everyone to assume the whole thing is AR, even if they're hunting on the other side of the line. I'd hate to shoot a cull across an imaginary line and have to explain it to a warden and hope he believes me

The county in which you are hunting and shooting at the time.
And I keep my GPS with me at all times as my lease is split by 2 AR counties also. I know exactly where the line is.
