Killing crazy ants

Does anyone know how to kill or control crazy ants? I have tried everything and they keep getting in my house then dying. I have piles of dead ants by my back door that I have to wash off the porch but they just keep coming. I also have them coming in around the pipes in one bathroom.

I have tried the spreader poison, other stuff from lowes and demon, demon works the best but they still come in and die.

Termidor will ruin their day. Only thing is, you can't buy it. Bite the bullet and call an exterminator. That's what I do and I use it for all ant infestations on the exterior of a house, except Rover Ants. Got a little something something to use on the inside to take care of them. Where are you located?

You may try a sweet ant bait. I use Maxforce Quantum. Not sure if you can buy that or not? I know you can buy Terro though and it's very similar. It's a weak product that will allow them to make it back to their colony for distribution and eventually knock them out.

Atleast you are having luck and they are dying. They may be making it in, but they're dead. It won't be an instant kill with just about anything you use.

This if you can get ahold of it. Maybe demand for exterior or orthene for inside doesn't smell to good but it will kill any bug there is.

I am located east of Houston in Baytown.

Yes they get in and it's a pain in the @$$ to vacuum up 100 dead ants in the bathroom everyday and 100 on the tile floor in my living room.

I think I am about the point of calling the exterminator, I have put enough chemicals in my yard to kill a small village in Africa.

just get a new pet, an ant eater. That is what my brother wanted for christmas when we were kids cause ants loved his flesh. I would call a pro that you researched. There are a lot of bad ones and the stuff they use needs to be applied correctly. There is a 9 month pesticide I use to use for chinc bugs, ants, grubs... on my customers yards. They even reported that they had less flys, misquitoes. I need to look it up. Its expensive but it last the year. Usally applied it late winter and would last to end of fall.

Whatever product you use has to be labeled for "carpenter ants". Bayer makes a product that works pretty good but you have to spray about once a week or so. I think its called Bayer advanced. It's in a blue bottle and you can get it at Lowes. They are called Rasberry or crazy ants. They are horrible at my house but only outside. Thank God they don't bite!!

Exterminator. Business in Austin was so infested that they were getting into employees cars. Once sprayed dead ants over inch thick. Apparently when these ants die they release a pheromone much stronger than regular ants so that is why pile of ants gets so thick - so I am told. Bad deal.
