Live hunt from Burnet in the wind

Sat in my ground blind lady night and got skunked. Nearly got killed by a rattle bug on the way back to the 4 Wheeler, so i decided to find a different setup for this morning. I'm sitting about 15 feet up in a large oak tree. Trying this no feeder thing. Wish me luck. Here are my shooting lanes.

Well, that's a bet i would have lost! Doe and her nubbin buck Jessy came in from where the deer blew. Directly down wind, all the way to 7 yards our so. They never came into a Lane though, so they'll live another day.

Yessir, I'm sure you do, but for me, to try something, 400 bucks is a bit out of the budget. Plus the one i ordered can run on any 12 volt source and not a proprietary battery. I'm not trying to knock your product, I'm sure it works well, it just isn't the best fit for me. Oh, and if they don't deliver, they don't Get paid, so no big deal.

Well, the morning hunt wasn't a complete bust, actually saw deer for a change, but no shots fired. I'm back at it this afternoon in a different blind. This blind produced for me last season, and my buddy a couple weeks ago. I put a clean card and fresh batteries in the camera at about this time yesterday, and poured out a concoction of chum which included acorns, pecans, corn, protien feed, buck candy and acorn rage, then left to hunt a different blind. This morning, i checked the card and had 33 pics, and deer were here within an hour of me leaving. So, i did the exact same thing tonight that i did last night, except I came back to this blind. I'm getting away from my feeders all together. There hasn't been a deer seen under a feeder since opening weekend. I think they wised up, so I'm trying to sneak around and catch them when they think they are safe.
