I have been trying to find some small spots along 1431 and Parmer and other areas close to Cedar Park...most of the land is owned by developers and investment companies and won't let anyone hunt them.
I wrote to the owners of the property behind Station 4, but didn't get a response from them...I'd like to set up a stand in there.
Texas Crush Stone has some monsters on the place.
I lost my "Honey Hole" at the last minute in Westlake and been looking for another spot.

I hunted a spot a few years back at the corner of 620 and Parmer. It's a pretty big plot of land, but I lost the guy's number on purpose as he tried to stiff me. Deal was, my buddy and I took him duck hunting, he let us deer hunt. We came through on the duck hunt, and he came through on the deer hunt, but after I killed a doe, he suddenly wanted me to pay him. "Uh, yeah, sure, I'll get back to you on that one bubba." Anyway, he had some good deer there, and since his property backs up to an apartment complex, the deer aren't super spooky. Quick as lightening, but not too terribly concerned about people. It was a cool place, and lots of deer there.
Kaitlin's grandparents live in Breakaway Point off Parmer and have deer in their front yard every evening. I watched a good buck from about 15-20 yards on Thanksgiving day. I was standing in the open, in blue jeans and a polo and he paid me no attention. I REALLY wanted to sling an arrow, but it's a no go in the neighborhood.

Got work a few days ago that the Schlitterbaun deal has been moved to the land right next to the station

I'm trying to get permission to hunt a 17 ac piece that butts up to Breakaway Park...there are plenty of deer in that area!

I knew a guy that has cattle in that property at one time. I thought a church was going in close to the station, on 20 ac right off Parmer. That area is going to be packed when Schlitterbaun is build.
I do know the church owned the property but had not heard about the church going in. And the schlitterbaun thing was just told to me last shift so dont really know any other details. I'm not sure how the folks back there are going to like it if it does get moved right there. I was told 2 years ago I could hunt that property by the guy who took care of the cows but a few days later he called me and said the owner decided he did not want anyone over there so I never go to set up a stand.
