Maybe I shouldn't post this question, so if I don't get any responses I understand. But there was a huge bodied buck that had been hit by a vehicle(horns missing) on I-20 (W-Ftworth) close to the Markum Ranch exit, not far from the 20-30 split.... Just curious cause I have saw some huge bucks in that area....?????

Big enough to cut his antlers off obviously. It is against the law to cut them off so either it was a huge buck and a law abiding citizen did it or a small buck and a poacher did it.

A lot of times the GW will cut them off to keep people from stopping and taking pictures with it or trying to take the horns themselves thus creating more chances for accidents and so forth

I saw that buck. Was an 8pt. Probly scored around 125. The one I saw was hit last friday so if its a fresher hit than I dont know.

I knew it was illegal... Just wondering if anyone saw it. Its been since that one last fri, I came through on Monday & it wasn't there, so it's been in the last few days. It looked more like in the last 24 hrs. I know of a main frame 8 pt that had a huge split g2 makin a 9pt total that went roughly 155", that came from that area several years ago. I held it & Looked more like a mule deer.
