Friday a.m. - Live from Spicewood

Phone is still suffering from the swim it took a few weeks ago at the Hard Rock Vegas pool. Camera is non grata, which drains 50% of the life of a live hunt. However, I'll limp along and keep you in the action.

I have a client hunter (TBHer Tom Dade) on the main ranch with his son. Thought it best that I be here this morning to say hello before bustin South to Pearsall like a rocket sled on wheels.

I'm hunting the far North end of this pasture, right off a county road. Cattle panel carpet blind overlooking a fire break and feeder. Bucks are in full rut and this stand gives me lots of area to view. And with that typed sentence, I realize my binocs are in the truck! Doh!

Tom and his son are across the road with guide-delux, Allen. They are looking for a good buck for a well-deserving kiddo.

I'm looking for one of several bucks. Matters not to me if it's a cull or big boy. Or maybe a doe, if she looks at me the wrong way. I'm just happy to be in the blind again after four days of work.

Delete thread...ban user. This has been a waste of bandwidth! On the road to Pearsall. Here's hoping they cooperate better down there.
