Good Machine. Have a 2006 that gets worked out everyday (not just weekend lease stuff).

Still going strong with just routine maint.

Be very careful with that model. They have now changed their design. However, we have had the throttle assembly break on three different bikes. The bad thing is that the way it is designed, when it breaks, it forces the bike in full throttle. The last bike that did it, was after it sat over night. We started it the next morning, and there was another hunter standing in front of it. Because it was in gear, it took off as soon as it started and broke both of the guys legs.

Make sure you always start them in neutral!!! One of the only machines that you can start in gear for some reason.

What year model? We've had 2 05 models we still have one with 1800hrs on it. It's way more reliable then our newer 08 and 10 models honestly! Also alot more durable and bulletproof. The other one we sold to guy down the road and he's still running that one to.

I have a 2012 Ranger 400 with zero issues. Way better UTV than I expected it to be. Goes everywhere my Yamaha 660 went on the lease with much more carrying capacity in the back. Plus, it's small enough to get into tight areas.
