I will admit, i kill most every snake i see if I have the opportunity. But most are poisonous or could cause problems. Like stealing eggs from the chicken coup. Or water snakes eating the perch that feed the bigger fish. Honestly though, I HATE SNAKES!!!! I always will. The worst experience I ever had was hunting south texas sitting in a ground blind and having mice run all around my feet. Heard rustling behind me and turned to see the HUGE belly of a snake moving between trees 10 ft behind me. Lucky for him i was able to determine that it was an indigo. Having him around put me at ease of the rattlers!

Its amazing how many grown azz men are afraid of a little harmless snake and just need to kill it to make themselves feel better/safer


Just pick it up, toss it in a box, and go release it elsewhere if you can't handle sharing your yard.

i shoot dang near every snake i see....but it just so happens all i see is rattle snakes lol and i have been known to make them mad then kill them lol trust me, once you get bit by one you wont likely let any of them live

I will say my mind has changed a lot on good/bad snakes and on giving a pass to some others, But my ability to think through pass or no pass will be severely tested when I see one like this

this is a hybrid or designer python, they bread the ones with odd of off coloration to get more odd or off coloration , this is "i dair say it " a good snake , non venomouse but can get large and not so good !

the ranch my buddy lets me go had a snake cross my path. i let it do so. thinking it was a king snake. had i known it was of the corral family, different out come for sure.

That my friend is a coral snake. Red to yellow kills a fellow. Red to black friend of Jack.

I would have added him to my collection. There is no reason for people to kill all these snakes

+1there is no need to kill any snake unless you plan on eating it. That goes for any animal i dont kno why a snake would be any different

So you must think its ok to just kill a deer and throw it out in the woods.

I agree with the family part but there are some post one here of people killing snake for no reason at all. I can see if they planned on eating them it would be fine but i bet they just throw them in the woods and post a pic on here

I have chicken snakes ( rat snakes) that get in my chicken pen and eat my eggs and chicks. I kill them all and throw em in the creek. In order to prevent the wasting of these resources, please post your address so I can mail the carcasses to you so you can eat them. Sincerely, miket

x2 on being bitten and your perspective on snakes, as stated above. It certainly changes your outlook towards them.

Since I am allergic to the antidote, snake encoounters give me a "me against you" feeling that doesn't discriminate between poisonous and non-poisonous snakes.

if you think its bad to say dont kill snakes just mention that its not right to just kill hogs and leave them to rot. I said that once and everything from spiders to cock roaches got brought up------lol but its all in fun
