I agree with the"good snake" i would not have killed it. Heck, i dont normally kill rattle snakes. But to each their own.

I'm not one for killing just to be killing. Around me, if a snake is venomous, it gets disassembled... I know some folks will kill a snake just at the site of it without knowing what it is. Some do it out of fear, some to protect themselves or their family.

If there are pets or children around why would you let a venomous snake go free around them?

I agree with the family part but there are some post one here of people killing snake for no reason at all. I can see if they planned on eating them it would be fine but i bet they just throw them in the woods and post a pic on here
