Our very best for God

First off, let me say I struggle and am not sure if Ive ever given Him my best. If i have, its been very few times.

As you watch the clip, listen to the coach as hes telling him dont quit, dont give up. Do your best, dont quit. We promise to give Him our best. He gave us His best in His Son to save us, and we cant give Him our best. He lost His only Son, and to give Him our best, what are we losing in comparison?

But as coach is telling him dont quit, do your best, God is also our coach and telling us the same thing. He's our coach and our biggest supporter. He wants us to succeed, yet we struggle to do so.

This was my awana lesson last night, but it spoke volumes to me.

It is definately tough to give the lord your best when the world around you and the devil are trying non-stop to make you think that giving the lord your best is not required and that you are wrong for doing so.

Romans 12:2 - Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

great clip, great movie! That church has made a few movies now, & I think only one had an actual actor in it, Fireproof, it is pretty impressive what they put out. They always have a great message that nearly every one can relate to somehow.
