Just got surrounded by does. 4 behind me 20 yards. 3 down the roads 70 yards. Afraid. To. Move.

And still have the original doe north at 20 yards. 3 south of me are coming in at fast walk to the plot.

Well just got down. 10 does & not a buck to check on them. I stayed an hour later in the stand to see what would come after dark (and to leave under the cover of darkness) but still the same does with 2 new ones coming up the road. So I howled like a wolf & they split with out a blow. They live to see another day. All in all a very good afternoon in the woods. I'll try to post a pic of the deer I'm after in a lil while. Back in the swamp this morning. Going to be a bright beautiful day. The weatherman had me prepped for a little warmer conditions, so my ears & hands are a lil chilly, but it's all good!!

No deer yet. Seems like a perfect morning for them!
