              Wow Cody and Dale!! Ted, take him when you can. I would say I would rather shoot an axis buck than a whitetail with my bow. Love em!

                Nice axis, take him. He is not done his horns ends are stilled balled up. But i would not pass nhim up. Take him the next oppurtunity u get

                  Looks like he will be a challenge! I just got an email from the guide saying he has been all over the ranch and hasn't seen him since we took the picture Sunday. So much for getting a pattern on him.....

                      Yep, he still has a little while before he even thinks about rubbing out. Velvet is pretty durable but if you shoot him when the tips are still that soft be very careful with them. Soft, bulbous (is that a word?) tips are easily damaged. The two that Cody and Dale shot were just about in the "prime" velvet stage. Good luck!

                            Ted, I got this one on Saturday and he was about done and should have been rubbing off shortly I would get'er done this weekend. He looks good.
