Let us not forget that God's ultimate goal is a relationship with each of us. As foolish as we humans are, we are least likely to seek the face of God when we feel like we are surviving on our own. You want to see people seek the God they don't believe in or believers pursue an intimacy with their creator, wait till times get bad.
