Late Report, but literally waxed the ducks opening morning

Well we decided to hunt our marsh off whites ranch road and killed limits. Met at our friends barn and they heated up the wax. I've never seen a plucked duck look so good. We "plucked" 48 ducks in probably 15 minutes after the wax cooled on them. The picture below is of our four limits, mainly teal. The bottom picture is some of the waxed ducks.

Waxing? I've been hunting ducks a long time and this is the first I've heard. Care to elaborate?

Sorry just seeing this... You use a pot on top of a propane burner, fill it with a mix of candle wax and water, it turns into a liquid once hot, cut the feet and wings off then dip the birds by the head into the mix and scrape the entire body with a wand/stick to ensure the wax coats all the feathers, pull the bird out then drop in a bucket of ice water to let it cool, once cooled it is hardened like a candle, break open a section of the "duck candle" and peel away and it leaves you with a completely plucked duck, no pin feathers, nothing
