Headed to Iowa

Now that I have been home from my Canada moose hunt for a few weeks, I am leaving Thursday to Iowa. I saw a few threads earlier this year where some other TBH'ers were also hunting Iowa in Nov. Anyone leaving this week?

I am driving alone and thought if anyone else is going, maybe we could follow one another for awhile. Just a thought!

You'll have good timing for the rut. I just flew back last night from 5 days of hunting in Iowa. I was on the front side of the rut. Some deer were moving but not many (and not in my hunting grounds).

I took a doe the first hour I was in the field. Passed on a moderate 8 point. My cousin took a nice 12 point that weighed 225 after field dressing. I did get to bring his choice cuts of meat with me though.
