Well Gang, the other day I posted a question about the GS's experience with wireless (Wi-Fi) connections to a TV from a PC or Laptop... Got some good info here (as usual) and did a little research on the tips I got. I ultimately bought an Apple McTiVia wireless unit. It connects to my TV's HDMI port and can be configured to either connect to a home wireless or wired network. I got it primarily so we could connect laptops to our TV at the ranch to watch our own videos and view trail camera pics, so I configured it to do a mirror of my desktop on the TV. I loaded the CD that came with the unit and followed the instructions, hooked up the unit to the TV and turned it on. I had to plug in some basic data then pressed the "go" button... It worked like a champ!! Basically if you can see it on your computer screen, you can see it on the TV and it's full screen! I not only was able to view pics, videos, and other graphics, but display documents, power point presentations, PDF files, ... literally everything.
It was a little higher priced than some of the other options, but it sure has lots of flexibilities. You can view pics/video from your iPad, android, laptops, PC, pretty much anything that can connect via Wi-Fi connection.
Big thumbs up!!
