I hunt a place in Lampasas.. I'll be interested to see the responses. I'd agree with around Thanksgiving timeframe. Give or take a little time either way

We're in Brown county and it's usually around thanksgiving. My dad saw a couple real young bucks sniffing around some does this past weekend, so maybe it'll come on strong in the next couple weeks.

No real signs in Madisonville yet. Saw a few bucks with the cold front two weeks ago... then nothing..

Within 3 days of when it happened last year, and the year before. Rut doesn't move more than that anywhere ya go.

Saw a young buck trying to mount a doe this morning. This is in NW Travis county.

In Mills County they were already starting to chase last weekend. Should be cranking up full blast any time now. Thanksgiving is usually the tail end which can be good because you get the big boys out crusing for the last available does. Our biggest bucks have traditionally been killed the weekend before Thansksgiving.

Big bucks not chasing yet, but with the cold front coming Sunday, I think it will happen from about the 11th to the 30th of November, and then again around Christmas. JMO. This is in Mills county.

Look TPW and look for rut prediction. I think it's around the 16th fit the peak.
